Refund/Cancellation

In case, amount debited from account and ticket not issued, the entire fare and IRCTC convenience fee electronically will be refunded, except the bank/card transaction charges.
E-tickets shall be cancelled online and refund should be credited to the account from which booking transaction took place, after deducting the applicable charges.
In case of i-tickets, the ticket shall be cancelled at the reservation counter and later on online application, refund shall be credited to the account from which booking transaction took place.
No refund shall be credited on confirmed reservation, in case ticket not cancelled or TDR not filed online upto four hours before the scheduled departure of the train.
In case of wait-listed e-tickets on which passenger is on waiting list even after preparation of chart, refund shall be credited to the account from which booking transaction took place after deducting clerkage.
