Elephant Safari :
Timings 5:30 am to 7:30 am
The safari is typically for an hour only
There are two Elephant Safari points in the Kaziranga National Park, one at Mihimukh in the Central (Kohora) Range and another at Bagori in the Western Range.
Jeep Safari:
Timings: 7.30 am to 3.00 pm
Mihimukh in Central Range at Kohora, Bagori in Western Range at Bagori, Agaratoli in Eastern Range at Agaratoli, Ghorakati in Burapahar Range at Ghorakhati
Each of these circuits take about one and half to two and half hours (or even more depending upon interest of the tourists)

How To Reach
By Rail- trains to Jorhat from Guwahati/ Dibrugarh.
By Road- Kohora is the main tourist hub for Kaziranga its on the National Highway 37 (NH 37) which is linked to Guwahati on the west and Jorhat on the east. The route from Guwahati is Guwahati – Sonapur – Khetri – Jagiroad – Nelli – Dharamtul – Nagaon (bypass) – Puranigodam – Samaguri – Kaliabor Tiniali (junction from where one can divert to Tezpur) – Jakhlabandha – Burapahar (Ghorakati) – Bagori – Kohora.
By Air- Guwahati has regular flights to and from Delhi, Kolkata, Imphal, Agartalla, Bagdogra, Dibrugarh, Silchar and Jorhat.
