From Chats, open the conversation with the person you want to block.
Tap their name at the top of the conversation.
Scroll down and tap Block.
Tap Block on Messenger > Block

From Chats, tap your profile picture in the top left corner.
Scroll down and tap People.
Tap Blocked people.
Tap Unblock next to the name of the person you want to unblock.
Tap Unblock on Messenger.

From Chats, tap your profile picture in the top left.
Tap Notifications & Sounds.
Tap next to On to turn them off.
Choose how long to turn off notifications and tap OK.
To turn off notifications for a single conversation:
FromChats, swipe left on a conversation.
Tapand choose how long to turn off notifications.
Tap OK.
How to add someone to a conversation ?
From Chats, open the conversation you want to add someone to.
Tap the person or people's name at the top of the conversation.
Scroll down and tap Create Group with [friend's name].
Select or type the names of people you want to add and tap OK.
