About
Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) 2.0 is a Government of India scheme led by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas to provide free LPG connections to women from poor households. Launched in 2021, it expands the original 2016 PMUY scheme with the goal of replacing traditional cooking fuels with clean LPG across rural and semi-urban India.
